Tai Chi


What is Tai Chi:

Tai chi is an art embracing the mind, body and spirit. Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey.

All classes appropriate for all fitness levels and modifications are provided as needed during class. This class is 60-75min and safe for levels, prenatal, post partum, and seniors.

In addition to building inner strength, Tai Chi can help if you suffer from the following conditions:

  • Arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS or similar conditions; asthma / bronchiectasis and a stroke –  shown by many medical studies to reduces falls, alleviate pain, improves quality of life better lung capacity.

  • Poor balance to prevent falls, improve balance and health 

  • A stroke, heart disease, injury, surgical procedure or tiredness and stress

  • Diabetes, heart-related conditions 

  • ​Osteoporosis 

  • Back pain, or a weakening condition like chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia 

  • To de-stress or relieve depression 

  • For children, to improve health and coordination
